This class will be suitable for those who are fairly new to yoga and for people wanting a gentler practice. The class brings mindfulness to postures, breath awareness, relaxation and meditation and you will begin to develop a feel for ‘yoga’.

Class Teacher – Gaby Sancisi
A diploma graduate of the British Wheel of Yoga, Gaby has been studying yoga for twenty-five years and teaching for fifteen. Her teaching style emphasises calmness combined with strength and attention to postural detail. She believes in the importance of a strong body and mind in order to be able to cope with any challenges that we may confront in our lives and encourages her students to learn to know themselves and their bodies in order to understand what will best serve them on their journey.
As well as teaching yoga, Gaby is a successful artist working out of her studio in Hackney and regularly exhibits her photographic and video portraits nationally and internationally.
She has a successful track record in business administration and, as well as teaching her Monday evening classes at Zen Yoga, Gaby is our finance manager.
