About The Class
Restorative Yoga encourages a state of calm, quiet and simplicity. Through the use of bolsters, blankets and blocks to support the body and hold asana for longer, a slowing down of the nervous system and the mind takes place resulting in a relaxed grounded and centred state of being. A perfect way to start the week.
Classes with start with gentle stretching to warm the body, followed by a slow sequence of restorative poses with natural conscious breath.
Suitable for beginners and as well advanced practitioners to compliment a more dynamic practice.

“I started my yoga journey when pregnant and continued with a regular practice over the years. As life threw its many challenges in my way, I began to see the benefits of yoga for the mind as well as the body. A trip to India inspired me further to deepen my knowledge, first completing a 100hr Immersion and then a 200hr Teacher Training with Bridget Woods Kramer studying the Anusara Principals of alignment. As a teacher you are always learning and developing your practice and I regularly attend workshops and training with some inspiring teachers, including recently Anna Ashby.”
