Flow and Restore with Sandhiya

<< back to schedule

Every Thursday 07:00-08:00

Starting from 16th May.

We UPLIFT and then RELAX.  Beginning with a warming flow to release stored stress and tension, softening into restorative practices for deep rest and heart opening.
We bring in the rising inner heat energy starting with Sun Salutations, keeping a rhythmic vinyasa momentum and then slowing it down inviting in calm + cooling energy – ensuring you are balanced for the day ahead. You will have a nourishing 10-minute relaxation in stillness and a light head massage which everyone LOVES.

Who is this class for?
These classes will leave you feeling very looked after and taken care of. Feedback from previous sessions has been that everyone benefits from the integrated practices we cover in just 60 minutes – physical postures, meditation, mantra, massage, energy work, relaxation and yoga philosophy.

ABOUT SANDHIYA

IMG_8591What Sandhiya offers is in recognition of our shared experience of life – the joys, challenges and difficulties.  Her classes are a melting pot of practices that have continued to help her daily, knowing their potential to support you as well – to build inner resilience and open up to transformational pathways.  In 60 minutes, she will guide you through yoga poses led by chakra alignment, with a peppering of yogic philosophy, scriptural references, mantras and ancient storytelling.

Sandhiya has qualified through the East London School of Yoga and long before that grew up with Hindu culture and traditions at her core.  It is important to her that the yoga industry offers a well-rounded journey into the Self that is representative of its ancient Eastern traditions and that you experience the fullness of yoga beyond asana.
